Wow, that sounds painful. I'm not there yet *touch wood*.Originally posted by whitsundays:Hi Jetta, FireIce
I understand how you feel as I was dignosed with gout some time ago. I remembered that it was bloody painful. When the blanket slides against your big toe, you feel a massive shot of the pain. It was very very painful and I was surviving on painkillers.
FI you might want to try this Indonesian Jamu thingy I used when I hurt my knee in an auto accident but it's very messy and painfulOriginally posted by FireIce:accumulated from extreme sports i used to do.......
din take care properly last time

Stop for 3 months only, and my aching and stiff knee is back.
Ginger is often used for sprains and even slimming too.
Try slicing the ginger or grating it, soat the grated ginger in chinese rice wine or their so called 'tei ta jiu' (chinese medicinal wine for external use).
Use the grated ginger, wrap around the swolloen/sprain area with a bandage for a few hours. (Like what the above ladies has suggested.)
Or alternatively, soaked your feet in hot water with sliced gingered.
For slimming, can try ginger powder in your bathtub of hot water, soaked in it and hour, then wrapped yourself in your blanket to sleep.
Dont rinse off.
Next morning, you can find your blanket all oily and yellowish cos the ginger opened up your pores and sweat out the dirty stuffs in your body.
I think thats the idea.Originally posted by ShrodingersCat:Wow sounds very powderful leh!!!!
But its going to be super warm right to wrap urself in gingerrrr?
It is super warm but it works like a charm on my knee injuries after the auto-accident and getting soaked in the rain for 2 hoursOriginally posted by ShrodingersCat:Wow sounds very powderful leh!!!!
