Police chief turns to the long arm of the Lord
A police chief has unveiled a new crime-busting tactic - praying.
Norfolk's assistant Chief Constable claims communities should reduce crime with the power of prayer, reports the Daily Star.
Simon Taylor, 45, was speaking on a promotional video for Norfolk's two-day Christian festival.
He said: "The drug scene and other crimes reduce when people pray."
A spokesman for Norfolk police defended Mr Taylor's comments: "His views are his own. It is up to individual officers what their beliefs are."
