honestly, very hard to look for places. unless u wanna book a table at Baker's Inn but they have stipulated that expenditure for two persons must exceed $39. it may be worth it cos u can relak and watch it whilst the rest of the ppl are packed like sardines. i once caught the fireworks whilst having supper at Baker's Inn and it was really delightful to be able to enjoy great dessert and the works but i think now they are smart enuf to charge premium.Originally posted by sillyme:heh.. joking nia..

gosh.. shoving and pushing doesn't sounds good for me.Originally posted by JLennon:dunno leh... just a bit far i.e. cannot get the direct impact of the works but its good enough to avoid the mob. i went to esplanade on 8 August and it was terribly packed. everyone was shoving and pushing and i had some polite exchanges of words with two chaps before the show even started! the worst part was that the works weren't that great....

there was a lot of pushing at One Fullerton cos the space was small and slightly enclosed. where silly has proposed to watch (Promenade) is actually a very good spot (cos its open and breezy). I used to go there to catch the works.
