I have a concert to attend at 5pm at VCH, so I'll only be able to join everyone at uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... hopefully before the fireworks start

how long is the concert?
it won't be easy squeezing through the crowd.. give us a call when you're making your way =) -

dunno leh... just a bit far i.e. cannot get the direct impact of the works but its good enough to avoid the mob. i went to esplanade on 8 August and it was terribly packed. everyone was shoving and pushing and i had some polite exchanges of words with two chaps before the show even started! the worst part was that the works weren't that great....Originally posted by sillyme:how's the view up there? -

i've had very bad experiences with crowds.. once i was at a countdown, it was so crowded, i kept feeling nauseous and almost threw up. and there was another time at some event, i took forever to get out of the crowd and the people were like pushing here and there. ughhhhhhhhh. -

nor can i think of an alternative place
