  was 'ambushed' at the elevator.. this cleaner was trying to cleaner the top exterior of the lift.. he put up a ladder right in front of the elevator door! lucky i was not rushing out.. if not i think i would have toppled his lift.. i can imagine how his ball shrank when he heard the lift coming

  the cleaners at my place usually get the lift there, then "jam" it by sticking a wad of cardboard so that the sensors will not allow the door to close...

  this is what's done at HDB mah
  The lifts at my office are all automated, just use the computer to stall the particular lift will do, no need those mops

  can i ask how the cleaners know to use computers to stop the lift? our cleaners are pretty simple folk who are stumped by the electronic pass to open the door.. and all you gotta do is to flash the pass over the sensor..
