  from the sff2004.com website.. one fullerton seems to have a better vantage point..
  
  perhaps we can do this..
  
  have an early dinner.. in this way we can find cheaper alternatives.. then proceed to view fireworks.. then followed by desserts and coffee..
  
  or the no-hassle way is just to have dinner at one fullerton and veiw fireworks from there..
  
  what do you think?
  
  p.s. equinox is out of the equation.

  Agree with better viewing at 1 Fullerton (or the Esplanade bridge). And with your dinner-view-drisserts itinerary.
  
  Cheapest & nearest would be Marina Sq food court (or wadever eateries there)?
  
  Hmm what's good and cheap at One Fullerton? I hardly go there.

  got prima deli at one fullerton.. quite reasonable ..
  but have to go and check what other restaurants.. any volunteers?
