Mere biblical scripts could lead you to nowhere unless it becomes Rhema.
Sounds familiar. I heard the pastor saying the "rhema word of God".

To me, it's like a parent-child relationship. You love Him, so you fear not having His favour.

Pray for wisdom to understand when you read the bible, I do experience immediate response of myself after reading His words, sometimes I feel glad, sad and even start to pray for someone whom somehow it relates.. The Holy Spirit is doing the works..

For me, the fear of the Lord should be in every christian. Though the word can be translated as respect too, i prefer to take it literally. It is this precise fear that brought me to a knowledge of the Lord, read his word and OBEY it! Should i lose this fear, i will be no different from a non-believer.
