I do not focus on any speaker. I just greatly respect leaders, pastors, etc who are 'appointed' by God. Church is the gate of heaven. It has got to be clean, tidy, excellent and beautiful. hmm, its abit complicated la. what does it mean to be follower of christ
i'm a christian, and i go to play pool in places where there are alot of smokers and gangsters hang out. its cheap there.
and i like going to pub, drink abit etc
to some people who are more "holy" they see it as wrong, i should spend my time doing more "beneficial" things, like spending 24/7 reading bible.
so how? there are some people who feel wearing casual to church is a sin as its not giving our best to God. so how?
its impossible to please everyone la, who calls u a hypocrite as long as you do not meet their standard of "holiness"
so to me, i just prefer to go by faith when i do things, as long as my conscience is clean, i'm fine with it. obviously when i sin, i will know its a sin, and i will confess it.. tts the best i can do -
if christ were to even revive, ppl will still doubt him for a fake. the same old shit (the questioning, the accusation etc )will still happen again. most religion need their gods more for as a idol, a person for them to focus all their prayers to and follow. if they revive, how many ppl can stick to what they say, live as what they say?
