  actually software prices can be affordable..
  
  buy what you need, e.g. just buy Microsoft Word instead of full version Office.
  
  if you're a student and need to use photoshop or macromedia, there's always the education version
  
  many of us go for pirated version because it's the easy way out.. few bucks only mah.. maybe it's time to inculcate the habit of saving up for things that you need.. it may take some time.. but what's the hurry right?

  i know it's expensive.. i know schools also help their students get a copy if they really need it.
  
  other than that.. these software only used only if work requires or you have a special interest..
  
  if out of interest, bo bian lah.. save up lor..
