  I'm unfamiliar with Gary Rhodes but he looks interesting online
  
  Hard to judge since never eaten ANY of their food before. I'm partial to "western" cuisine. Preference will be based purely on personality and familiarity...
  
  I read both of Anthony Bourdain's books, seen him in person at Kino and watched him on TV... and he is absolutely funny, charming and witty

  watched fang tai add shao xu yan (bit of salt) with my mum..
  
  then went on to watch martin yan with his choppers..
  
  and when i was in UK, watch almost episode of jamie oliver's naked chef (season 2).. and the occasional "cooking with delia"
  
  it's actually fun to watch them cook

  I'm not too impressed with Jamie Oliver ... his cooking is kinda too hodgepodge "anyhow whack" to be credible
