something like that.... censors will tell the distributors "ok.. you can release this film under this rating..." and distributors on learning the scenes that warrant that rating will have to make the call....Originally posted by M:ooooh i see, the snips are enforced by our omniscient board of censors who decides what's 'not good'. The distributors then deal with that decision. Yup, better than nothing, i'm still bitter bout schindler's list almost a decade ago @_@
they went to strip joint mah (live action also)Originally posted by M:Anyone saw Lost in Translation? i read parts of it got snipped..
Last film I saw was ( <-- hey lookie, reversed! ) Along Came Polly..
right on, spielberg fumed and wouldn't yield to cut the 'butt in shower room' for the geniuses who thought it's offensive.Originally posted by KittynMeow:something like that.... censors will tell the distributors "ok.. you can release this film under this rating..." and distributors on learning the scenes that warrant that rating will have to make the call....
Yup.. me bitter abt schindler's list too... and there was some disagreement during that time I remember abt the cuts and the director's insistence to keep the film whole... same thing with Saving Private Ryan....
