  and worse still, me folks got me a pile of them and i ended up paying for them after my first paycheque!
  
  takes a huge amount

  heh.. they are everywhere! horrible agents!... the worst was when they started to have road shows...
  
  don't really shop for insurance.. i just call my friends and see what they have... i have plans with AXA, and Prudential..
  
  if you are thinking of supplementing hospital plans.. the one by NTUC looks ok.. can use CPF..
