Share some of the books you have been reading(other than the Bible) that encourages, inspires and teach you more things concerning God Himself.
I 'll start first
Got this book from my friend as my birthday gift entitled 'Why Jesus matters?"
So often we as Christians serve in church, do many things for God and do we merely do because we are told to do so or is there a level to that? Who is Jesus? Why we worship Jesus? Why Jesus matters?
This book talks about basic things concerning Jesus and brings us on a discovery journey once again on this One extraordinary life!

Hey,
when I P6 I won a prize book
. They ask me to choose, and I pounced upon this. Its a really good book titled "Christ Legends and Other Stories" by Selma Lagerlof, a Swedish writer and first woman to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. She wrote what her grandma told her ,and other legends of Christs and ordinary people doing great feats. It invoke different feelings when one read this book, coz its very different from other stories or Christians legends books. When you read it , you will know.

It's a testimonial story abt this Chinese christian, how he got saved, and how God uses him mightily... he got tons of miracles coupled with persecutions just as great.
after reading, I think the price we pay to be a christian is no where near him... we must indeed cherish the freedom to worship the Almighty.... -

this book...sold for 12 bucks at Singapore Bible College. I am currently attending evening classes abt the 'Doctrine of God Part 1' and we use materials mainly from this selected literature.Originally posted by sillyme:Knowing God - J I Packer

Pare Pio the sitgmatists***** - author is some italian guy lol
btw.... for those that are lazy or want something visual.. go down to hiap huat house (Campus Crusade) and get the DVD - Temple of Heaven. quite interesting. -
