  bought a leather mouse pad yesterday...yes..leather mouse pad.

  never used a mouse pad..
  
  remember only to clean the damned rollers in the past.. with the cheapo optical one, just got to clean the "feet"

  here's a useful suggestion:
  
  get this stuff called ArmorAll
  
  spray and then wipe with clean cloth... leather becomes amazingly smooth
