barrage of arrows.. he should have spoken to the rest before the meeting..Originally posted by choco B:I got no appraisals. It's lawless territory here /grins
This morning we had an ISO managemenet meeting. The MR (Management Representative) talk talk talk... then upon query by boss, started to shoot arrow at the various departments, and said he had to kinda cover and do stuff on our behalf. I don't think that's a good way to win our cooperation

but you gotta do the ISO thing?
give the con-men-sultants a HARD time!! i do.. they're all useless parasites...
besides, ISO ratings are less than useless anyway, except people have bought into the con so much that they demand your organisation has it before they deal with you...
heck! i'd want to deal with organisations WITHOUT the rating!

Originally posted by choco B:It has its pros and cons... without appraisals sometimes you can go unnoticed/ overlooked , which isn't all good.
Well it's the reputation and trust associated with the Certification. Good in that it creates order and proper documentation, bad in the paperwork involved.

Originally posted by the Bear:true true.. but like i said, in an organisation of 3000 people, who reads the appraisals?
i think the ISO thing throws out the ability to be flexible... but that's just me.. gave the idiots who did our SQC ratings so hard a time that he lost his temper after being proven wrong time and again for 2 days
