I just saw the Guyot design Nalgene cover at Adventure 21 Chinatown Point. It cost S$8.90 OMG, in the US, it's selling at US$$2.95. Quite a mark up.

$8.90 for guyot splashguard.... VERY expensive leh.. you go army market and "open" your eyes wider.. you can see them selling for $6-7.
anyway.. Nalgene and sigg are so marked up in singapore.
I can get nalgene 1l wide mouth for S$9 overseas. singapore is crazy i tell you. -
I've been using my big, old nalgene bottle since 1st 1/4 2002 when it first appeared. Although sunrider has its own range of polycarbonate bottles back then. Becoz sunrider has been around kinda way longer than nalgene has but they stopped production. Their bottles look exactly the same back then. But the cost of using polycarbonates have come way down now thus nalgene is now making big bucks. By the way, the so-called bullet proof goggles worn by SWAT teams in USA is made of polycarbonate as well.
