For the AIDS patients worldwide:
Especially in Africa, where 45% of AIDS sufferers come from.
That the medical and financial resources and advancement will control the disease and a cure may be found soon.
That God will provide medical workers and volunteers who will take care of these patients.
The people will change their promiscuous sexual lifestyle and be aware of the spread of the disease.
God will show mercy on the people, especially family members of AIDS patients who have passed away. The widows and the children.
God will heal the patients of this disease and bring them into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

For Oceanic's and Sillyme's mums.
That God will extend His mercy and healing touch to them. Remove any obstacles to their recovery and take away all discomforts and disabilities. That the site of injury be cleansed with the blood of Jesus. That the healing with also bear the testimony that it is God who heals and bring them into the saving knowledge of Christ. -

METAMORPHOSIS CONFERENCE 03
That the topics on WORSHIP, FREEDOM, PRAYER, FAITH and MISSIONS will be impressed upon my heart.
Thank God that thru the conference i have been transformed by His truth especially concerning the above 5 issues in my Christian walk.
I will put the things i learnt from God into practice.
Thru the conference..i have made the following commitments and i hope my bros and sis here will pray for me to keep those commitments.
1) I have signed away my entire life to serve Jesus no matter where i am, and wat i do. My life is His...not mine. My possessions is His, not mine.
2) I have committed to obey the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18. I make myself available for God to use me as He wish in the process of reaching out to the lost.
3) I have surrender my sexuality as a man into God's hand. I want to be the kind of man God has created me to be, not as what the secular world thinks. To be a leader who initiates, mentor who teaches, king who provides and a friend who loves.
4) I have commit myself to be involved in world missions. Wherever God calls me. Be it by sending, providing, sponsoring or praying for the missionaries. To be involved in every possible way to bring the gospel to the unreached.
5) I will follow Jesus all the days of my life. I will shine as His light in my campus(NUS), my local church(SAC), my family and wherever i am found.

Hi, I am not Christian, but would like to pray for my friends.
Pray that they would be happy, and not look towards the negative side.
Pray they would be safe, and in whatever trouble they are in, be able to get out of it safely.
Pray for our friendships, and it would not be broken because of minor differences.
Sigh, its was not a good year for me, but wish next year is better.

Once after a night of BBQ in East Coast, during the sunrise,
my friends went toilet. Haha, thats not the story.
I was alone, and contemplating life, when an old lady comes around, poking around the leftover plastic bags. She ask me if there is anything to eat. The BBQ pit was cleaned, and there are not cooked food already. Just some raw meat.
I told her no, I dont have any food left.I tried searchin gfor beehoon or anything that is already cooked, but alas. I gave her some money and she went away. It struck me she is not just any beggar. She could be homeless, without friends and relatives, and family. She could be abandoned, and refuses to go nursing or destitute homes. She could be at East Coast every morning begging for food, yet there are no expression of anguish or sadness on her face when i told her I dont have anymore food.
Many years ago, in secondary school, my friends and I used to visit Woodlands Home for the Aged. It was at first part of the NYAA criteria that we choses to go for charity work. At first, we just take equipment and do usual cleaning, painting, clearing longkangs. Quite fun too. After that we usually have chit chats with the superintendent of the home. We talk about the home, the senior citizens, the destitutes. All have stories behind them, and few were featured on the the show Extraordinary People. I remember there is this old lady with a middle aged mentally disabled son living right in the home. I was thinking, there are like no children for the son, and no fillial grandchildren waiting on the grandmother. The family line, the their lifes are passed just like that. I dont know what happen to them now, since the home is demolished to make way for the new Turf Club. It was used to be near Kranji MRT, and the scenery was used to be luscious green. The residents are dispersed, one of the new home being Bukit Batok Home for the Aged. I visited the place one time, and was surprised to see the Asst Superintendent there.
During a brief period in secondary school, I visited the Chidren Society Home in Marsiling. It was part of the school thingy about social service points need to be completed. We had fun, cleaning, thinking ways of cleaning the place, playing with the kids. Only thing is we were informed that they are orphans, and we must never mention their parents or talk about our own family. During one of the session, we ask the one of the kid what he wants, and he replied "I want my papa, he promise to bring me to the playground". The room was suddenly quiet, especially us guys, while the other kids still howling and playing away.
While in army, we visit it again, once a year. This time, I am already much older, and the staff told us more about them, like them being protected children, some are real orphans, some abandoned, some whose parents are engage in brawl and other reasons.
Hey guys, I was thinking like for all these people, they need our help. A story in the Aesop Fable tells about a poor farmer who used his earnings from sold-off grains to buy clothing for three statues on the bridge. The next morning, the statues are alive and gave him riches. Of course no statues comes alive for us, but I believe in give more, take less.
We can offer prayers according to our religions. But can we extend help? There are many things we can do, and I need not list it out. Even smiling and say thanks to people who wants you buy charity tickets, after you reject them for whatsoever reasons, is considered a kind act.
Instead of taking actions, you guys can think over the stories too.

Prince of Peace, come and grant us Your everlasting peace in these lands facing fears and anxiety. In their sorrows, comfort them with Your merciful presence and in their hour of danger and perils, come and save Lord! Defend Your children and Your people in these lands from attacks both physical and spiritual and may these painful events bring about renewal and advancement of Your Kingdom here on earth.

We'll only get to appreciate our lives more when we start to look at how unfortunate some people are.
Even then, these people have learnt to be happy in their circumstances. We can learn this from them, that happiness come from within. No matter what life puts us through, we can choose to be happy and learn to cherish the little things we have.
The blessing of waking up every morning, to have a shelter over our heads; to be able to see, hear, touch, and move... things we take for granted
I pray that all of us can find happiness in contentment -
For everyone experiencing pain and hardship,
That God would be wif them thru these difficult times, give them strength to carry on, to find comfort in Christ and for them to know that God will make all things beautiful, in His time. -
For oceanic and all who are ill:
God the healer will heal them of their ailments and restore to them wholeness of body, soul and spirit. The healing of God ministers to each one of them.

yeah. such sights really kill my desire for enjoyment for the rest of the day. they always appear when i'm about to have fun. -
