Dear sillyme, brothers and sisters in Christ:
I just have this idea of opening a 'Prayer Box' for all of u to post your prayer requests. I know certain issues are sensitive to post over here...hhmm....just post watever u feel like posting and we commit ourselves to pray for the items listed here?

pray that i may love God more than my girlfriend. that my so-called 'love' will not be exclusive for her. that i may dread less of being separated from her, in which event i will not be bitter but be as faithful as Abraham. for that will be as much faith as i will need.

This been my prayer for the past 3 years. Obviously its not word by word but the underlying themes are about the same.
Dear Lord,
I pray that You will show me the path. I would really love the responsibility to be the one who will take care, be with, and love her for all eternity into my afterlife. But please help me to know myself better... whether my motives are truly pure and unselfish. Furthermore, i would rather seek Your path for me rather my own.
But nevertheless, please help me express my utmost gratitude and appreciation in a way to be known to her for she led me back to you again as well as living my life a true child of God would.
Help me overcome my fears and ulterior motives and lead me to reconsider very carefully for the last time in my 3 years of praying to you, whether I really love her because I rather be the one to be hurt than her. And help her realise the fact that anytime she needs a shoulder to lean on, a parachute, or a true friend, I am always there for her. I truly love her, God but I need some assurance from you since she's my very first, and my only one.
Make me treasure my family and loved ones, and protect them always with your power, especially her for she is truly faithful to you and help her smile always.
Help me remain faithful to You and the Church in the many faces of adversity for I am very happy that i acknowledged your presence again a few years ago, since it gave me some wellness spiritually. I'm grateful for the many opportunities you have given me: academically, financially and above all intangibles: like the love for everything good she does, our relationship, and those true friends around me.

My prayer requests:
-commit to God
-not ashame of denying myself n taking up the cross
-guidance in my struggles n issues
-Strength to overcome fears
These are the general ones. Im just an average joe, just got back to Christ a year ago. Still struggling with life issues, everyday seem so hard . Thanxs.

all of us face difficulties at times...we aren't perfect just that we have a Perfect God.
For me....
Is to get down to study mood
Live my days as a daily sacrifice to Him; pleasing and holy
To love and not to hate, bless and not curse and to forgive and not condemn.
For greater opportunities to serve Him and when given a chance, take it seriously. -

Pray for my final exams in 2 weeks time
Pray for discipline to study, and that i may use my studies to glorify God's name.
Pray also for my close friend who may undergo an operation. She is studying in Australia and her parents are here in Singapore. Pray that operating may be avoided and postponed till she returns to Singapore this November, and that she may even accept Christ as her saviour!
All these i commit into the hands of God.

I come before you in gratitude and thanksgiving. I worship You for who you are and what u have done for me. We pray for the persecuted around the world. People who have loss their families and lives because they bear Your Name. Strengthen these servants of yours, in whatever circumstances and plight they are in right now and that they will continue to be your salt and light, glorifying you even in death and finally obtain their perfect rest and eternal comfort in Your Kingdom which knows no end. In Jesus' name. Amen. -

pray for my health
had been rather sickly on n off for e past few years..different aliments here n there.. quite sick of all these problems
pray for family that there may be peace.
pray for my mum that she will stop being so vengeful and pray for God's mercy in her life. Pray God will touch her with His love and fill her with forgivness/compassion for others. -
