Am I getting any -? Lanterns, probably have some leftover at home and won't have to buy for Saturday. Maybe get some sparklers. Saw a budget store in Toa Payoh Central selling such stuff.

I've had this dish, sliced pumpkin stir fried in salted egg yolk. Heavenly. And never tasted it again in Sg.

on saturday so we'll dress in black and float em lanterns around when dusk falls at one of em beach resorts Twisted Evil

It's heavenly. If you do try it out at home, add a wee bit of hay bee, liberal use of salted yolks, keep it dry, no water added, short stir fry will do. Pumpkins are naturally sweet and cook quickly.

Which beach resort are you going to?

Aww c'mon it doesn't sound that bad... quite. romantic. what. And I figured you're the type who's game for anything out of the ordinary.

Although I still don't get what has black attire got to do with lanterns. You're right, mosquito fodder esp by the beach. (It sounds like an idea that cames from a woman hahaa no offence to my own gender)

What kinda floating lanterns are you using... the accordians can't swim.

Maybe you could go to the beach earlier. Or enjoy the resort at night. That'd be pretty luxurious.
