i know we make mistakes, but when we do, do we continue the mistake, or do we make a conscious effort to right it?
i have heard too many people use the "I'm only human" as an excuse... and i've tread on too many toes telling them "well, behave like a human and do the right thing since you already know what to do!"
just like the "mistakes" made by some people, it's their own problem if the do not affect those around, but if they continue to pursue what they know is wrong, then, it's not a mistake anymore, is it?
then, their very humanity is in question...

a very cool piece of theology there bear: that we are not in the same league as animals..........and so that explains beanie's view that there is are absolutes: it is predefined and it does not change, cannot be compromised.....an absolute. and inzaghi reflect the vast majority in the world today where there is no absolutes. sure there are rules in society but all is relative. if you can keep to it that's great but its OK to break it if you need to.....don't hurt others yes but if you need to, you need to........ultimately you are your own boss that define what is right and wrong- for you! each has their own standards, but for mankind as a whole: there are no absolutes! lots of diverse thoughts and opinions, but in essence, the underlying principles reveal itselfOriginally posted by the Bear:my personal philosophy to this:
