I started this forum without a theme verse and I left it very much without. Recently, while attending service, my pastor spoke of this verse
"As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, While {they} say to me all day long, "Where is your God?" These things I remember and I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go along with the throng {and} lead them in procession to the house of God, With the voice of joy and thanksgiving, a multitude keeping festival. Why are you in despair, O my soul? And {why} have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him {For} the help of His presence." -- Psalm 42:1-5
This verse speaks to me a lot as it is the very same song that first touched me when I was a young Christian. Let me share with your the song.

i sang that song during my last cell meeting. as much as i could sing this song...i so often behave not like it. i am a deer who pants after other things and not the living God. I felt so bad when i recall the times when getting my 'thirst' satisfied is so important that i can accept substitutes....the thirst came back..again and again until i finally surrender and confess that the only water that can satisfy me is Jesus Christ Himself- He is the living water.
