So, I feel it is an utter waste of time to respond when one’s response is premised on dictionary definitions and absolutes!
If one has to drag himself to work or has the Monday blues, then he has a choice to make. Either he take leave, or he bites the bullet and just go to work, or he awol and then face the consequences. The decision is his, and the consequences are also his to bear. As for prayer, it is also your choice to pray or not. There is no compulsion. So what's your point really?

I doubt Jesus would reject me for what I am not. Christians? Intuitively not so!
So the question is, did you create your own idea of what God is?
Most assuredly Jesus did not reject you, He died for you. Question is, did you reject His offer of salvation for you?

Both also involves choices. The only difference being one that can be seen by others and the other is seen by God. Again, what's the point really?

Of course it is the mind that rationalises. The heart only knows how to pump blood! Else you are reifying the heart.

Things like love, fear, jealousy etc. Even the laws of logic would count as such. You can't touch or feel these with your five senses, but nevertheless you do not dispute them.

The focus shld still be current life and not afterlife for me lo... well... diff ppl diff focus so everyone can choose what to focus on.

ya so becos no1 would be alive to tell it mah... so whether there really is afterlife anot to me is just a question mark. No one knows and cant be proven mah... then why bother focus so much on it. Focus on current life is better.

I was referring to the five senses, what we can see, touch, and feel physically. You were referring to physically seeing the afterlife, ya? But by definition that can only be experienced when you are dead, but by then you won't be alive to tell anyone about it.
if u can feel it emotionally, it can be proven to be existant also ma... i cant feel afterlife emotionally.

People, there is an afterlife. We are made up of three elements - body, soul and spirit. The soul gives life to the body. It is the soul that we use to communicate to one another. I am writing to u know thru my soul. For unbelievers in Christ, the spirit is dead. Once a person repents of his sins and accepts Christ, his spirit is made alive. It is the spirit that currently goes to hell or death when a person dies. In the future, the resurrection of believers will unite all body, soul and spirit without corruption, then we will be like Jesus bec we shall see him as he is.

"Once a person repents of his sins and accepts Christ, his spirit is made alive" so it means if ppl dun believe in christ, then his spirit dies? then he mus repent his sins and accepts christ? that means not accepting christ is a sin? er... me dun quite get it wor..
it means our spirit are already dead when we were born and needs resurrecting...in some religions, its called getting spiritually aware aka waking up the spirit inside u tat has been unaware all along...

oh... so it means that the spirit was dead to begin with lo. so it is more of a waking up of it rather than the dying of the spirit arh.
yes...u need to recall the fact tat the spirit in man died when adam sinned...so until the original sin of adam is forgiven, the spirit in man remains dead towards God...

As in seeing is believing? Do you live by this criteria all the time?
nope... but for something as intangible as afterlife, i wld choose the seeing is believing rather than devoting my life to believing in something that is way to intangible.
