I am wondering, how come the christians do not think or challenge their beliefs?
they just accept it whatever throws at them, blindly, with no reasoning nor deduction?
It is a sin to challenge God's word. Doubting is a sin. God is the alpha and omega, beginning and the end. He is way way higher than human beings , who are human to question Him. These are the teaching leh.
I scratch my head!
how come doubting be a sin? so much for free will eh lol. another paradox here.
so the teaching is like this, praise god all day long? nothing else but praise god? gee this is tiring, praising god all the time.

When I was still a christian a few years back, we used to stand outside schools to "target" school kids and tell them about christianity and bring them to church.
Come to think of it, it's actually not nice and might be illegal? Advise anyone? Has anyone seen preachers or evangelists outside schools?
in singapore, evangelism of any sort is nt illegal unless that particular church or grp is blacklisted as an illegal grp by the govt...if tat was the case, they wun be allowed to build or even rent places for their worship services...an eg of such a grp is the jehovah witness...so they have their gatherings at a believer's place most of the time...

Praising in earth is nothing, when u die u will need to praise him eternally in heaven...something like Celestial North Korea

Sounds like he is so egoistic to want people to praise him.

It's not illegal unless you target other religious groups. Remember the christian couple charged for putting flyers into muslims' letterboxes?
Also illegal if you say critical things about their religion.

Haha.. you are right in another sense.
There's also nothing to do, nothing to eat, nothing to play, nothing to see, nothing to screw, nothing except G*d to praise and "be near to". According to some christians, you should desire nothing else. This should be enough to satisfy you.
Your "soul" (you won't have a body) will have no use for other comforts.

hey what made you leave christianity?
what is the word, proselytizing?
actually it is banned in hospital wards. it is not allowed there.

it is illegal to say defamatory stuff but not illegal to put flyers into letterboxes
in that case, the Muslim family was specifically targeted

Hey Rooney
I was taught that the bible was perfect all my life when I was a christian. But few years back I decided to read it objectively and thoroughly and found inconsistencies etc.
So I thought for very long. Leaving the religion was hard but I did.

But if these evangelists target school children and try to bring them to church, they wil lhave to get the children's contact numbers.
Isn't that dangerous?
tell tat to the govt lor since u are so paranoia...i dun represent the MIW and nvr will...

huh why is it hard when you have seen the light. god is a myth cos it does not exists, so why hard.
Hey Rooney
I know it's all not true now.
But at that point of time, leaving christianity meant that my church friends would all stay away from me. And they did.
So i lost alot when i left the religion.
But then I realise that if they left me because of religion, then they were not truly my friends. :)
