if she realli belieevs in buddhism, she will admit she is a sinner...except perhaps they dun use the word ''sinner''...cos buddhism acknowledges the existence of evil/sufferings due to bad karma...

No lah buddhist dun believe in Sinner/ sinful nature.
eh...i am not too sure abt the part on sinful nature...but i noe they acknowledge evil/sufferings(to a very great extent in fact)...the very fact we still exist means there is still bad karma from our past lives that have yet to be repaid...

yes, only saved by God....God's grace.....
yet no good works simply means no faith..... as you posted:
"Yep faith without deeds/good works are dead.
True faith will be accompanied by good works."
so the whole pic is very clear...... you need to understand what is faith in the first place...
nothing can save you except by the grace of God.....and God only.
Very nice postings by Hahaha:)
I have often questioned myself what do people mean when they used the word "God".
And today, I found the best answer!

wat goes ard comes ard=u reap wat u sow=karma=nature force at work
so wats the diff?
Hahaha
Christians don't believe in nature force at work or karma, they believe in god's will. Although the bible says u reap wat u sow, Christians sometimes believe this and sometimes believe in god's will. Very messy, actually what do you all believe, I'm also not sure. Sometimes god's will, sometimes free will. I'm very confused. Can have a fix one ? Which one ?

U reap wad u sow means u do wrong things u will get punishment.
Without Jesus purifications of sins, if u use sword, u will die by the sword, it means the sins of using sword for wrong motives will condmen u to hell. U reap wad u sow does not mean karma.
We believe in God's will and free will working together.

And u as a buddhist who claimed to believe in karma come here to critisize us is a good thing? Not scared of creating bad karma?
From wad I know, as an ex buddhist, my lastime dharma teacher told me buddhist must refrain from critisizing other religions. U critisize other religion also gt bad karma .
R u doing wad ur religion ask u to do.

Me, no Buddhist, Buddhist must take 3 refuges. I just agree with the teachings. Am I criticisng ? Just stating my confusion only wad. You should clarify instead of accusing.

Ermm....... pardon me if i interpret you wrongly. with jesus purification of sins, one can use the sword without fear of going to hell. correct or wrong ? Luckily not all are Christians on earth, there are still people who fear to use sword for fear of going to hell.

If after accepting Jesus, u abuse the grace. It's a wrong mindset.
And do u see christians using swords with wrong motives now ?
As for grace abusing christians, If those christian dun repent and change their mindset, they might end up in hell.
If we believe in abusing grace, we cant enter heaven. Not all those who call Jesus as lord enter the heaven.
We should repent and change that mindset.
Christians should have a right attitude/ mindset when it comes to sin. After all sins seperate us from God.
Abusing grace is certainly a wrong doctrine.

If u agree with the teachings then dun critisize.
My buddhist teachers lastime told me not to say anything to non-buddhist esp those who have their religious beliefs.
My buddhist teacher once mentioned Muslims slaughtering sheeps during their holy festivals. The teacher said It's an act which creates bad karma. The teacher said we discuss this only in the dharma centre not bring it outside the dharma centre.
But the teacher never tell u go tell Muslims that keeping sheep creates bad karma. Muslims dun believe in Karma.
It means that u should not critisize other ppl's religion even if u disagree with wad the religion teaches. Coming to Christian forum to critisize is wrong.
Even if u tell muslim abt killing sheep and karma, they wont believe. They will tell u the sheep slaughterer did nothing wrong and no bad karma is created.
thats is why i like the family concept because it explains quite clearly salvation by grace for good works...but to understand the family concept, u need to put on the mind of a creationist...
This thread getting out of point.

Interesting but most Christians will not believe because it is not taught in today's Christianity.

I am amuse that there is someone that prefers to believe in what he believe to be true rather then what the evidence had shown to be true as the truth...
Anyway, the good news is, you cannot deny the truth forever. It just a
matter of time only before you realise the truth for yourself.
