City Harvest Church under investigation by CAD and CoC

think so..many years never go there...i remembered it was super run down despite all the neighboring churches have been upgraded.

This is truly humility. Humility very much taught in the bible. With regard to CHC humility is missing leh, the kong hee does not believe to be poor to preach God's word. He is more like a cult.

Does City HArvest type of christians ever go to cathecesim before? you know church class when small always go till the day of Confirmation?

actually every religion also has it fair share of problems. Even the catholic church where priests overseas are commiting grave sins.
Priests are also asking fellow catholics to pray for them, the only mortal who des not commit sins are infants & young children. And again, Jesus did mention....for anyone to enter the kingdom of God, he must be like a child.....

cathecesim is meant for Catholics. Some children attend Sunday School. Baptism class for christians preparing to get baptised (those with no infant baptism before).oops, i clarify - the above I refer to christians in generally not particularly the CHC> sorry chc to me is downright hopeless and I don't want anything to do with them

from what i know, catholics are christians.....how did it change, i'm not sure.
Anyway, catholics have always been branded non-christians coz people think catholics "pray" to Mother Mary.....catholics "pray" to the other saints....actualyy they do not pray to Saits or Mother Mary....they ask for intercessions.
Only Jesus can lead us to the Father....that is the truth....they are the Holy Trinity.
Catholics are also told to evangelize & spread the word, but how they do it is very subtle. Only when someone is facing a situation, we encourage them to go & pray.....u ask me, I have done that & i feel a voice speak....i survived many downward times in my life becoz of that....i prayed & my prayers were answered....and so I believe.....
Attend the novena sessions at Novena church & listen to the petitions & thanks-giving people put in & u will know whey they do so.....that's a good start towards embracing the catholic faith...

Frankly, I nearly do what you mention go Novena for the novena sessions but think again it is still the same God they are worshipping. Thus I changed my mind.Good to hear that your prayers are answered.
Yes, from my personal experience I find Catholics less aggressive and more sincere lol.

yes for adults to be baptized, they need to go through RCIA....which is classes for something like 9 months....

That is pretty intensive. Wonder what they teach.I had mine for 3 months, once in a week. AFterwhich followed by an interview from a church staff to ensure that one is serious to go for baptism and know and understand the significance of baptism.

the church is open, people go for various reasons....for those who seek a fortune...chances are it will not be answered.
A fellow friend of mine told me how he joined the catholic faith...it might sound ridiculous but let me tell you...
he had no money to deliver his child, his business was bad....and so he went to the church to pray....about his problem...but not to strike 4d...but he had always been buying 4d. Guess what, he striked & that amount was just enough to cover his child delivery & hospital charges.....

it is not any fault of God, it is us humans that distort everything. to me, every religion teaches good.....but it is sad that humans are using this for personal gains.....erroding the trust of the community.
Never blame God, for those who have done much injustice....judgement will be passed when that day comes & we as fellow humans should not be that person passing judgements.....
