Then u also must buy/rent building. If building too expensive, can ask your church member give u $ buy also can. If not have a campain then u can publicist during service... Then maybe use abit of psycology to make them give u alot also can

Personally, i have no qualms about anyone or any organisation opening a 'mega' church. the most important in a church is that it preaches the right teaching following the Word, and obeying God's commands and instructions, and not for their own purposes. although 310 million dollars is a little over the top, if it's all spent well so that more members can come and be saved, i'm absolutely fine with that. but if u put an investment here, put an investment there, then its not like a church anymore, more of a business where the main purpose is to earn money. Obviously, that is wrong! Matthew:6 - 24 24"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Matthew 19:24: "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."* *the rich man in this verse does not refer to generally rich people, but to the people who love money more than God* I honestly feel very sad that there are so many churches diverting away from the true meaning and purpose of christianity, to lead a Christ centered life, and serve him as Master and Lord. I pray and hope that free thinkers and sceptics in Sgforums won't think that all churches in Singapore are like CHC, as this may divert you all from true Christianity. But i guess that God has a purpose for everyone, and we just have to follow his lead. I honestly feel very sad that there are so many churches diverting away from the true meaning and purpose of christianity, to lead a Christ centered life, and serve him as Master and Lord. Priority 4: Work... Money
When Troubles comes... give up Priority 4. 3,2,1 stays
More Trouble comes... give up Priority 3. 2,1 stays
Much More Trouble comes... give up Priority 2 but very difficult. 1 stays
Everything Gone.. Priority 1 Never give up. If God is Priority 4 then it will be very wrong wrong wrong = unchristian.
In view of the focus on money. It is at the stage of Priority 4. So where's the clash?
Is it that it was never explained OR the Words of The People only amplify $$$ louder than god. So Thought the focus is $$$ over god... words are dangerous when used, heard or expressed wrongy especially in Court. But of course not limited to that place. In my everyday work we have to be extremely careful else will kana Jia lat Jia lat...
Anybody here with a qualified lawyer License about Church operations? This is the world where Everything is govern by "LAW". And who Sets the LAW? Setting the LAW base on?.. Find out yourself.... can't tell you too much else no FUN here...

Fengshui is unchristianlike practice to the Christians (in general).
The whole layout of Suntec is due to Fengshui. That's why the place is so luan. Very easy to get lost in the complex. -

they dont want to disclose the stake/ amount they invested.. this action is seen as a pure business/ commercial action.. already act like some multi-billion PLC..

NCC? weren't they in the news last year regarding the pastor's salary? Someone should audit all churches to prevent another Joachim Kang, Durai or Ren Ci from happening again. The church donations are parishioners' hard-earned money.
