Lately there was a 13 yr old kid sentenced to 90 lashes in saudi arabia, for fighting with a teacher over a ban on camera phones. Glad I don't live in the Middle east, one of the few areas in the world having a 19th century mentality in the 21st

What if you saw allah instead of jesus, he would certainly be angrier with a christian than a freethinker.

The Allah mentioned in the Koran will only convert christians to Islam, according to the Koran.

Crap la christianity is, lots of restrictions and God is so damn demanding.
Please don't generalise. I'm a Christian, I eat prata, and I don't do hard sell or whatever you think it is. Most of my Christian friends eat prata and don't do your idea of hard sell either.
Like someone has said, if someone says he doesn't eat prata for religious reasons, whatever religion or faith it is, I personally feel we should respect it.
I would feel it is the same with muslims not eating pork or those situations whereby people choose not to eat beef or choose to be vegetarian.
Yet at the same time bear in mind there are people of the same faith who apply different dietary restrictions. Not all buddhists/hindus are vegetarians for example, and some buddhists eat beef but some don't.
In fact, dietary restriction can be imposed based on lifestyle choice, some people just don't like the taste of alcohol or don't like the taste of egg or milk.
What matters is the person knows why he or she places that dietary restriction on themselves.

Ok, I changed the word to some christians hard sell the religion.
Not many nice christians around, you know. hahahahha
Having said all that, bear in mind the person starting this topic is full of nonsense and obviously does not have good intentions when starting topics like this. Don't hijack it to further take the chance to attack any person's choice of belief or even not to believe.

Christianity does allow eating of prata, so what is the issue of that someone not eating prata due to christianity is false. oh , please.

So having said what you said, are you here to fight whoever not agreeable to your faith? Where is the love of God?
wahhhaha

Trying to type with a very tired mind, words don't come out.
Like I've told an ex-christian before, maybe it lies in your own personal experience as well. Sometimes like expanding the circle of Christians you know. It may even be that you don't know certain people are Christians.
I had a friend who knew me for 5 years before he found out I was a Christian. Because I never exhibited the 'qualities' he thought a Christian would have.

I choose not to argue on that person's behalf about his choice, but if it were my friend I would respect it. Just to point out that I myself and many others as Christians do not face that restriction for whatever reason it may be.
I'm glad you understand that, just hope others too.

No, I think if you read my posts you would understand what is it I'm trying to say. Maybe it depends on your assumption on what my intention is.

NOt hopeful. AFter been backstabbed, broke rice bowls by christians, mind you not only one christian did it ok. Christians around me are no no. I have learnt through the hard way to convince myself forgiveness is not all that matters when they choose to keep being nasty, so solution is stay away from them. I will mix around with christians only when I find out they are genuinely nice.

Hard to say, I sometimes imagine as a Christian God would be angrier with some people who call themselves Christians than the non-Christian.
Whatever your faith is, in terms of divine judgement we may never be able to fully grasp it at all. And if you don't believe in any God or Gods, then it comes down to your sense of morality and humanity I guess.
To be fair, there are nice christians, but hard to come by.

I suggest a different approach, but it is your choice to make.
Be open-minded about all people, whatever faith or non-faith (simplifying,I'm lazy). Have no pre-assumptions/pre-conceived ideas about anyone. And not just religion but anything. Then just work it from there. Race, background, whatever.
Don't avoid someone just because he or she is a Christian.
But if you ask me, generally the world today is messed-up, not just specific to one group/demographic/whatever. It's not unique to anyone or anything.

Hello, I have tried what you mentioned a number of times, failed.
Better stay clear, steer clear from them, scare scare! if not later rice bowl kena broken again. aiyo yo!

I won't comment on whether there are more good Christians or more bad Christians, never did any statistics count myself. Besides, who or what really is a Chrsitian is very debatable in itself.
Not every church today is a Christian church either.

To each his own, I cannot discount your experiences, but that is still my suggestion also that is how I continue to do it myself or at least try to. Sometimes there are people or incidents that would affect this choice. Ultimately, it's up to you.
I'm done posting for now. Tired.
See you.
No wonder Christians are seen as hypocrites.
ah well..
