Ugh I fell to this sometimes too. One thing is not to store any porn material in your computer. That's what I've done. That helps quite a bit. -

The requirement is only to stop watching porn, not for carrying on living.
But anyway, the real theory is to remove the portion of brain which manufactures the sex hormones and not the whole brain.

Hi sorry i didn't know that you are not a Christian. but my advice to you is not to listen to worldly advice for they are of no help. If you have time find a pastor to help you. whether you are a christian or not, the word of God can help you succeed in your recovery. please take the time to read the scriptures i quoted because i took the time to dig those out lol. and again have a pastor to help you if there is anything you don't understand.
Since you make this topic in this forum. i thought that you might want help from Christians :p

As some advised, remove the sources of temptation.
Additionally, a change of perspective is required. The problem is that the materials cause us to view women as sexual objects. They also emphasise on physical beauty and instant gratification. This should not be the case.
Sometimes porn prevents you to have a healthy relationship a the person of the opposite sex.
Stop viewing women as objects of sexual desire, but be reminded that they are persons that are to be appreciated more than at the physical level.
