Do not ridicule another person's search for perfect truth in the divine when mankind has never proved its worth in the first place.
Ah... You have lost faith in humanity. The same humanity that mass produces all the product that you as a consumer use. Unless your telling me it all mysteriously poofs beside you....?
Anyways, I am agnostic. Although i'm on the verge of true Atheism, i am totally open to the possiblity of Creationism. So long as you can convince me.
Creationist, please cut some slack on the Atheist. They are actually very similar to you. The only difference is that they choose to disregard one more God than you.
This is actually a "concept" i came up with about Christianity. Drop by if you are interested in stuff like this.

Anyways, everyone should just chill and take things easy. Life is as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.

It's the same human race that has not got its act together after all these years to cooperate and reduce the adverse environmental and social impact (and share the benefits) of industrial activity.
Does wealth and material gain bring you permanent emotional and spiritual satisfaction? Can the process of exploitation to earn the money to buy all that cargo fulfill everyone?
Whatever you believe, do not urge people to trust science or humankind when neither is perfect or any better than religious faith. And never equate a religion with every person who claims to practise it.

Lets have a gander on how you are going to enjoy your emotional and spiritual satisfaction without the material necessity to survive.
Anyways, who is to say that Non-Believers doesn't have any permernant emotional and spiritual satisfaction...? Your concept of spiritual and emotional satisfaction has to be very narrow-minded and inflexible to be able to come to that conclusion.
Once again, it isn't fair to say that a drunken man experience more happiness than a sober man.

I did not say that atheists don't have lasting satisfaction. I said that some people become disillusioned with human institutions and choose to find their fulfilment in religion. Those people who advocate faith in humankind should not knock them, because the former are living out a contradiction.
And I spoke of material wealth and gain, which is beyond what is necessary to get by and survive. Putting words in another person's mouth isn't going to help you score points. I'll state what my definition of emotional and spiritual satisfaction is - the knowledge, contribution towards and fulfilment of one's purpose in life beyond the realm of self and self-sustenance.
Try looking up some videos of Severn Suzuki and Carl Sagan, and see how much we have collectively acted on their messages.
guys think about this... if earth cannot begin out of nothing.. what makes you think god could exist from nothing?

Out of the 6 billion people, how many have tried every religion?

An 'intelligent' question that many people have asked but no human is intelligent enough to answer.
Who in his right frame of mind would create an intelligent machine that he cannot control?

And whose standards are we using to judge what a "right mind" is?

Fact, there is suffering in the world. either God is not all powerful, not all knowing, or not good and just.
This fact prove there is no God. Circular argument!!
believe it or not, once there was this extremely staunch christian gave me a piece of her mind for seeing doctor. She told me I no need to see doctor, all I hve to do is pray to jesus for healing.
Ha ha ha, greatest joke of all, like that clinics and hospitals will have no business!. Ha ha ha. Ironically, a neighbour christian dreamt about angel conveying God's message to him that God will cure him but as days go by his conditions become worse, and from worse to worst.

What and whose concepts of "justice" are we using?
One doesn't need to be a religious apologist to point out that atheists also don't question or define their own arguments.

That reminds me of the joke where this Christian asked God, "Why didn't I strike the lottery when I prayed for it every day?" and the reply was, "What could I do when you never bought a ticket in the first place?"

Ha ha ha.
The Christians will reply that gambling is a sin.

Atheist argument? Theirs goes like this:
There is no God.
If someone dies and comes back to life, like 3 days later, not immediately CPR way, they are zombies. Zombies are bad.
If a woman claim to be a virgin and pregnent at the same time, she is lying.
If a dead body disappears after 3 days, someone or some animal moved the body.
If you pack only a pair of animals onto a ship for 40 days, the carnivores will starve to death.

There was a vegetarian lion called Little Tyke.
I'm curious, the bible is like ancient, and over thousands of years of translating, copying, mass producing etc..
Who can be sure that what you're reading today in the bible is exactly what it is suppose to mean. I mean, even a word difference can change the entire meaning of the text.
My interpretation of religion is that, ancient people who had little knowledge of science made up religions and beliefs in order to create a false sense of hope even in the most hopeless of situations. In the past, and i'm talking about many thousands of years, basic survival was part and parcel of everyday life.
And of course, history has always been written by the strong and poweful, the victors. Who knows if the current religions preached are like what they say. There might have been major changes along the way, but have been covered up. People have been known to politicise religion and manipulate their followers for their own goals.
But whatever religion it is, i'm okay with it as long as it teaches the good things

You are right. The bible is fake.

Someone did say though that BIBLE can be backronymed to 'Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth' but not 'Best Information on the Beginnings of Life on Earth'. Being a Christian doesn't make one a Kent Hovind (one of those 'Young Earth' creationists).

This is a good one, I have not heard before.
Thus it is really true that the bible has no answer to everything as what the christians claim.
Bible and God are overrated by christians.
I can claim to be god too. If you pray to me and your prayer is answered then its true, if your prayer doesn't happen then its not my will. No one can argue with that logic. The idea of god is like an unbreakable thread. Cannot be proven. When the "holy" book is proven wrong then its another interpretation. Of course, the author die oredi, the "scholars" can talk whatever cock they want.
