not true. Blessings come from obedience to Yahweh. Just because you have grace does not mean you will have blessing. If you are not obedient, you will not be blessed. This has always been the case in the whole of bible history as well.Originally posted by dumbdumb!:blessings don't come from our works, blessings come because of the fullness of grace through Jesus Christ.
point in question, look at the story of Jonah... what do you think?Originally posted by noahnoah:unsaved in the world ..
but this guy forever not obeying God..
Will God make this guy life miserable
or will never bless him in life?
Is this a good example?Originally posted by breytonhartge:point in question, look at the story of Jonah... what do you think?
POV that he was asked to go and preach a message to a certain group of people much like the scenario here...Originally posted by Icemoon:Is this a good example?

actually samson's gift did leave him. =)Originally posted by specialOps:It is like this...
God's gift and anointing, once given is irrevokable, because He is a generous and loving God, He never takes back what He has given.
But if we live in rebellion and sin, the sin and rebellion will corrupt and eat it up whatever good that is produced and end up destroying our lives.
For example, corrupt preachers and evangelists...even bible characters.
Samson had a gift of strength but he had lust, the gift continued to work, but his sin destroyed him in the end.
Solomon had wisdom, wisest man, same thing, destroyed by lust, hundreds of wives and foreign wives which was sin to God. God did not take away his wisdom, but it corrupted and destroyed him and his kingdom...
and many others.
So the evidence of the gift of God working and the anointing does not equate to holiness and purity. Just because a man is anointed and can do miracles, doesn't mean a thing, except that God has given him that gift.
If we do not walk in obedience, sin will destroy us in the end.
Actually what destroyed their kingdom?Originally posted by specialOps:Solomon had wisdom, wisest man, same thing, destroyed by lust, hundreds of wives and foreign wives which was sin to God. God did not take away his wisdom, but it corrupted and destroyed him and his kingdom...
Prove to me that Jesus Christ who is a descendant of David did not have a good spiritual upbringing.Originally posted by Icemoon:Actually what destroyed their kingdom?
Issit women? Or issit the fact the royal descendants did not have good spiritual upbringing. They were not taught the ways of Yahweh.
