Anything said that is not to the liking of some, will get locked. I mean this si really silly:

Personal attacks are just part and parcel of life and a reality. We live in a real world with full of human weaknesses. I don't see it as very harmful in a forum where you don't get to meet each other face to face. It is safer in here than going to JB where you might get paranged on hammered on the head!
Common, learn to be tolerant, take all the craps, trash and bashes - this way you will be tougher and also humbler.
A thread is started but it doesn't mean that TS must always be the participant. Can't TS be watching and listening? Does everyone in a forum gets a chance or want to speak? Maybe TS just want to kick off a topic then leave it for others to carry on. -

It is one thing to treat others with respect and act with humility on the Internet. It is, however, an entire different thing to expect others to actually show more patience when you start whacking the things all around and complaining when people snap back.
Want empathy? Show some humility first, and then maybe we will be less irritated than now.

Yeah I got annoyed when he closed that thread as well. I blame AndrewPKYap for his irrelevant personal attacks on me after telling him such posts will cause the thread to be locked. You have as much self-control as an 8 year old. Well done mate, well done.

Do not use speaking your mind to shoot your mouth off and say whatever you want.
More importantly, why are you targeting EH specifically? This reason is given for closure of thread in the rest of sgforums, not just EH.
This kind of post reflects your mindset and your intentions again.
Sometimes, we should take a step back and be a bit more less close-minded about certain things.
To add, personal attacks happen in life, it doesn't mean we should condone it. I'm not sure what you think, but do you feel personal attacks are a valid form of communication. -
You know, I have tried to be tolerant with you, TGE. I've even asked others, in private, to be tolerant to you and some others. But I think I've reached my limit when this forum becomes an unpleasant place to visit. Unpleasant because I am always seeing people arguing. Argue not because they have good intentions, but because they just want to be right.
The purpose of requiring the threadstarter to be active in the discussion is to reduce the risk of anyone starting a flamebait intentionally.
I personally don't mind anyone asking a question with the real intention of finding out the Christian perspective. That is one of the purpose of this forum; to be the Christian presence. But as we have mentioned countlessly, we don't seek to change anyone's perspective or beliefs. If you don't agree, we are fine with it.
We are not here to preach. We are just here find fellow friends of our faith. If there is a question asked, we will answer and that is it.
Some people just want to try to put down our faith at every opportunity they can.
Why?
