Why so many ppl anti Christinaity?

my second question why do one believe that there is a God?
Is holy spirit real and why? Any personal experience there? -

If u ask a Christian whether Jesus is the only way, our answer is always a definite YES. To tell u otherwise we would be lying.
Of coz, that does not affect you becoz that is what we believe.
If what you believe in tells u Christ is one of the many ways and u are totally convinced, then so be it. No use telling u otherwise.
At the end of the day, we can still meet up for a cup of tea at Buddhism outing as friends. -
just as many people find it ridiculous that a God created everything, i too find it ridiculous to say the world is formed from nothing. There must be someone out there and that someone is God. i believe in the Holy SPirti becos the bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit is real. But again, you want me to ask him come out let you see, I cant. the Spirit's role is to convict and lead you. Many examples but its late and lazy to type haha.... one example is when I did not know much of the bible and once when I am down becos of family dun like me to become christian, I feel a prompting to turn to a chapter in Romans and thats where i found Romans 8:28. -
oh Isis is a buddhist? welcome welcome... i have always been fascinated by buddhist teachings esp on the issue of nirvana...but thats another discussion haha

I believe there is no definite answer to your second question becoz everyone's experiences are different. Like what SIS, some pple say they believe in hindu god becoz they have experiences with hindu gods. I believe the holy spirit is real, and there are people who have experienced him. Why? Until I meet God myself, I don't have an answer for u.

The most funny thing i read in EH is, Christians are self-serving and self-fish.
But when they spread the good news, they are also seen as bigoted. -
feel? define feel? I feel Him everyday. He brings to my mind issues that I try to hide. I feel Him when He leads me to read a passage that i never came across. ok cos i also think i experience the holy spirit even though im not christian. i must say i always feel a more affinity at heart with christian since young. However, after exploring christianity for only a short while, and after knowing buddhism, i choose buddhism la. there are other factors on why pple are converted.
And no matter what, it does not matter. I hope it will bring happiness to themselves and the people around them.
Anyway i once attend a service by the infamous CHC. but then the pastor did say that christians have to take care of how they behave cos they will be judged by others but then i was scared away by one of the cell leader. -
To me, the bible is nothing more than a fictional book compiled by ppl long time ago so I reuse the bible as toilet paper and I think ppl should do this so as to save more trees. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be in sync with God. We study and learn about Him and His character. When we have the Holy Spirit, we are to reflect God's attributes to others. People should be able to see Godly nature when they look at us.
Some Christians might have tried to reach out to others in their own efforts. Inevitably, their human efforts do offend non-believers from time to time. -

From my observations, there are many anti-Christianity threads in this forum than in the Buddhism or Toaism forum? and to add in SG, christian guys are generally too nice, or abit wierd (social behaviour) or have extreme Christian beliefs and views. not to forget the many who go church just to sian zar bor.
anti-christian and anti-christianity are technically the same thing, one refers to the individual, the other the organization but the ppl make up the organization.
now if u are saying anti christ that is a different matter. I got nothing against God and am an agnostic, am not going to align myself with christians.
its true that dan browns stuff is mostly fiction, but Christians and the Vatican have not exactly upholded God's name throughout the last two centuries, excluding the crusades and witchhunts.
just read up on what the Vatican did (or did not do) during the Holocaust. The Pope at that time definitely knew mass genocide, was being carried out but chose to keep quiet to appease his Nazi occupiers. His line of defense: "We save souls, not save lives." This is just one eg. -

Whether or not it was Christians your posts are directed at, what you are doing is wrong. Please do not get carried away by your blind hate. Your posts point towards your hating Christians on very personal grounds, rather than with Christianity itself. Please look beyond the blind hate and look at the bigger picture. -
