Edit - I suspect even the teachers think their students CMI in that respect.

I can say most Chinese High people sucks in English, and the point is?

I could say your alma mater Temasek JC has no culture whatsover simply because its just established for few decades, unlike Raffles, ACS or Victoria ,and I dont see the point in doing all that, or how it relates to topic. -

When I say the abortion rate in CJC is high, it is the peeps in bar that gave me the impression.
When I say the western social ill is booze, I use the example of Prohibition and that it failed. (I apologize for using the word values)
When I say the chinese standard in ACS is mediocre at best, I make sure no one will sue me like the IJ and ST affair.
When I say "you are a liar", I make sure there is a legal precedent for this in Singapore. -

While the CJC one stems from impression, the fact of the matter is that the argument has everything to do with impressions - not mine, but others. Hence, even if the facts are far from the truth, the damage has been done. While not all students are Catholics as you correctly pointed out, it is rather damaging to the school reputation and no doubt the Catholic in charge will be saddened if he hears of it. Especially when the Catholic faith is so against abortion and sexual promiscuity, more than the Protestants.
The ACS vs CHS one, it is regrettable that I can't find any stats on CHS, now that they merged into HCI and their de-emphasis on academic results. I could find the ACS one though, but it is practically useless if I do not have the CHS one for comparison. Hence, until the day I dig out the CHS one, I shall take back my allegation, as per etiquette. I also apologize for any bad feelings caused to any ACS student or alumni.
However, I will not take back my question as I feel my allegations are not far off from the truth, after all. I think there is no need to lie, the average ACS student is not exactly proud of his chinese result, in the academic sense.
Furthermore, if you ask them whether they think their chinese sucks more or the CHS english sucks more, I suspect they will say their chinese sucks more. -

I believe I will have a large following, if we ever do a public survey. Hence if you vehemently think the opposite is true (ie. my claim is totally wrong), then I think you have the burden of proof.
