religion in general is flawed....it assumes in a constant which unfortunately cannot stand the test of time. for those that change and adapt, they become corrupt. those that refuse to change, they become critical and possibly bitter.

However if this is the case, doesn't it potray God as being unforgiving and egoistic? I can only say that our human suffering was caused by Adam's sin in the very beginning. Ppl reject God so how do u suppose God to bless them? & even if one is a good man, we are still in this world filled with sin & evil & demons, so bound to be hurt or suffer. For eg, a drunkard speeding past a pedestrian crossing killing a good man - it's the drunkard's sin not the good man's.
Intellect cannot comprehend God fully. That's why bible says we must come to God by faith bcos only faith pleases God, not good works. Certain things are spiritually discerned not intellectually discerned. Questioning & doubting are good but when one's mind actually closed already to the gospel, one wont accept the truth no matter how & will find any reason to doubt & reject God. It's no longer doubting Thomas but ppl are skeptical for the sake of being skeptical & not wanting to know the truth.
Anyway it's like God is this landlord, Adam and Eve his tenants. Adam and Eve disobeyed god and ate from the tree of knowledge and because of that this landlord punished Adam and Eve and their desendents and it's like saying if you don't believe in me, there is no redemption for you?
And it's said that man is made in God's image so does that mean that man is reflective of what god is as well? Having needs and wants and being about differentiate between right and wrong, having an ego etc?
If the bible says we must come to God by faith bcos only faith pleases God, and not good works, it makes God look more like a ego-maniac
Anyway, I'm not an atheist nor am I anti-christian.
I believe there is a god, but is the bible potraying him as the god he is? I don't know, but there are too many things in the bible itself that I'm too lazy to type and don't agree with. To believe in something based on faith without logic behind it is something I cannot do.

Historically the argument has always been the interpretation of Scripture. Words are dead. If an unbeliever reads it, the words are still dead. If a believer reads it, the words suddenly become alive and transform his life. -

Why do I believe in Jesus?
Because He rose from the dead.
Why do I believe that He rose from the dead?
Because of the witness and testimony of reliable and credible FIRSTHAND EYEWITNESSES. they have their affidavits written in the Bible [gospels]
What does the Resurrection prove?
It proves that Jesus Christ is indeed God's annointed Savior.
NOTE: Intelligent and experienced atheists do not try to write off the Resurrection as some fanciful ideas of some fanatic. That it is a myth and a product of a wild imagination of some votaries of Christ. They know it is a dumb arguement to use.
What they do is attack the credibility of the Gospel records. That it is inaccruate and has some errors in it.
Their are other amazing stories in other religions about their respective gods but they [the writers of it] do not claim to be a FIRSTHAND WITNESS.
In the courts of law they are just tantamount to hearsay.
Courts need FIRSTHAND WITNESSES.

I think it was a guy named Morisson who had it in mind to prove the REsurrection as a myth. In order to do this he must destroy the sturdy evidence that Christians have, the Gospel records.
In the end, he ended up becoming a Christian. The evidence was just to overwhelming.
Somebody wants to destroy Christianity? Prove the Resurection as false. -
Can i include my testimony?
I was once an agnostic like many people in the world. Uncertain of God's existnce and Christ's claims.
I read the Bible but did not put it into practice. [How could I prove the veracity of the Bible if i do not put it into practice? How would i know if what I am holding is a genuine sword if I would not use it?]
But time came by the grace of God that i put the truths in the Bible into practical experince. AND I FOUND THEM TO BE TRUE INDEED. [IT IS BETTER FELT THAN TELT as some would say]. It is better experienced than explained.
The Lord Jesus said: "if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed."
And i found it to be true. I was once enslaved by wicked desires and sordid passions. but Christ set me free from it. Just as what He said in the Bible He would.
Joh 7:17 "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority -
