  When you do works in Christianity, the reasoning is that you do for God. In Buddhism, its to gain merits and part of the path to salvation.
  
  Same terms, or rather, same actions, but reasoning for them and the situation applied is different.
  
  To say is related might be erroneous if we dont look at them conceptually.

  Hi ito, perhaps you should find out more abt buddhism before you comment on it. When I was young and ignorant, I had thought that Buddha was a God/deity too, due to shows like 'journey to the west' and the likes. Even some taoists I spoke to thought Buddha is a God in Buddhism, like as in Taoism, but the fact is, Buddha is NOT a God in the Buddhism context.
  
  Commenting on a religion we are not very sure of or only aware at the superficial level is unfair isn't it?

  Whatever you do, the default motive, will be for God's glory. To honor God.
  
  The life of a Christian is to love God and do('christianlifestyle) that pleases God.
  
  He meant, living a God-centric life or some where along that line.

  Hi all... those wondering the relation between the BWB and SOA forum, there is not much link between. SOA deals more with things like feng shui, thai amulets (and that is why there is some apparent buddhist link), although thai amulets is more strictly a tradition of Brahmanism. but it is also accepted by many thai buddhists.
  
  BWB is about Buddhism, the teachings of Buddha, and not other cultural practises.

  tHAT NOT ALL THINGS IN THE BIBLE R VERIFIABLE. BECOS OF THIS, IT IS EVEN MORE VERIFIABLE THAT GOD IS THE TRUTH.
  
  unverifiability make it more verifiable.
  
  we wont know every God's ways because of one thing, our brains r limited(by time and space) so it is normal for us not to understand everything or able to prove everything in the bible about God(in other words, verifiable)
  
  If you wan a religion full of evidences to make you understand, you shld read a science textbook instead.

  Born again is the result of something.... I am more interested in the "Gate of Christianity" to the divine, than the effect itself. As discussed in skype in Christianity, Faith is one crucial factor, and there is another crucial factor... it is not another way other than Christ, for it is taught by Christ himself.
