Talking about that restuarant.Originally posted by Chin Eng:There's a restaurant called CONDOMS AND CABBAGES in one of the sois along Sukhomvit.
Where most restaurants give out breath mints at the exit, this one has a dish that has condoms that you can take away......
Nothing sleazy in there, just good Thai food.
U been there? I just heard of it never been... alwys wanted to try but never got round to it... if it were along sukhumvit or petchaburi would have tried it long ago.Originally posted by M©+square:Talking about that restuarant.
I took about 1.5hrs to find it. And didn't have a really satisfying dinner...i feel that it's below par from the authentic thai flavor.
But the place is nice, and full of ang moh.
Was telling myself, why am i eating tourist food.
u mean duck their specialty? They fry/braise?????Originally posted by casino_king:U been there? I just heard of it never been... alwys wanted to try but never got round to it... if it were along sukhumvit or petchaburi would have tried it long ago.
Talking about real thai food... the food they sell at golden mile complex is very thai if you can order it in thai. otherwise they water it down for you.
and the duck at MK steamboat restaurant is a must ry if you had never tried it. actually duck in thailand is a must try at any thia restaurant.
Yup, and it took me 1.5hrs to find it cos it's not near to the main road. Got to walk along a dark alley. Most people will miss the alley because it doesn't look like there's any restuarant....machiam geylang alley like that.Originally posted by casino_king:U been there? many things you don't know about Thailand... I can recommend you a Jap restaurent... in the middle is a big pool with big jap carps swimming and sometimes leaping... I guess if you eat at a place like that in Singapore you will need to pay 5 to 10 times what you pay there....Originally posted by laoda99:u mean duck their specialty? They fry/braise?????
