even the most liberal cults have some sort of law and regulations for believers to obey. law is required to keep the system in place, if the world is a system under and for god den shouldn't it be respected as such?
as for doing good deeds, wouldn't doing good deeds with nothing in return better than doing for tickets to heaven? -

I certainly would not, and do not agree with what the people you mentioned are saying. I am convinced that there is a lot of altruistic behaviour coming from non-Christians.
I don't think the issue is if there's altruism, altruism ought to apply to everybody interested in good irregardless of your belief. The real issue is (and sometimes some Christians get it muddled up hence that statement), if this altruism is truly the answer to the Question of Divine Incongruence that begs us all. -

God instituted the sacrifice system in the OT because He knew mankind cannot possibly keep all the Laws.
But now sacrifice abolished liao .. since the Temple no longer in existence. No more High Priest also.
So how? All the Jews go hell issit?

U are right to say that sacrifice abolished liao...the temple also no longer in existence...and no more high priest....and do u know all these point to one word=Christ. Christ is the final sacrifice, our body has become the temple of god and Christ is our high priest forever.
The bible says that all will know him and profess his name, and this include Jews. So u need not worry abt Jews. Better worry for yourself if u are still following the 613 commandments. -

No more earthly High Priest, cause Christ is not our High Priest.
There is only one way to salvation, that is through Christ, one standard for both Jews and Gentiles.
