Your all kinds of comments simply shows that you are unhappy with me. You do not have to tell me so many times indirectly. If Christian treats Christian like that, how can we tell the world about Jesus? I have all ready try to close all the quarrels which seems to be started by my questions (also by the word "entertainer" ), and if you still want to add fuel to it, you go and maintain the peace yourself.Originally posted by sgdiehard:You worked up? this reminds me.. once chc and other churches had such a 3 day conference once, i think earlier this year.. a joint conference with singings and preaching, etc. actually, i only remember pastor kong critisized the other churches incapabilities to keep people from leaving halfway during preaches and how those young people just wanted to worship but not being preached.. etc etc and started comparing their own conferences and that.Originally posted by happyharvest:Your all kinds of comments simply shows that you are unhappy with me. Maybe you want to approach other Christians.
I see methodist, prysterhians (sp?), anglican, and some traditional churches united. As least I know it myself. As for CHC, well, ask Pastor Kong.Originally posted by Ito_^:this reminds me.. once chc and other churches had such a 3 day conference once, i think earlier this year.. a joint conference with singings and preaching, etc. actually, i only remember pastor kong critisized the other churches incapabilities to keep people from leaving halfway during preaches and how those young people just wanted to worship but not being preached.. etc etc and started comparing their own conferences and that.

But if you want just to have a debate with me, I will have to avoid it. But if you want to know if Christians are really untied in reality, you can try asking other christians here.Originally posted by laurence82:no, its referring to what u said months ago

I saw this words of advise from a forum and thought of share it here. They also face the same problem but the problems are much better controlled than here. Christian forumers there are much better in how they comment each other and discuss.Originally posted by gasband:This place needs some loving....

Greetings
I have been reading these posts with great interest.
I love ministering on the internet, been doing it for about 15 years. I also love spending time with my non-Catholic Brothers and Sisters.
Some of the things I have observed are the following.
1. Non Catholics spend more time thinking about Mary than most Catholics do. It
is non-Catholics who usually start threads about her. We don't even spend a lot
of time chatting about her, even with each other. In a Catholic forum, most
often when there is a Mary thread, it has been started by a non-Catholic who is
visiting.
2. Very little time is spent discovering what we agree on. Most discussions are
extremely negative. Does anyone ever spend any time TRYING to understand
what the other person is feeling, thinking, why they believe what they do?
3. I see a lot of Spiritual Pride. I am so sorry to say this but it is true. We. that
goes for me and for you, believe that we are right in everything. Some of you
think it is your duty to charge right in, when YOU think something is bad
doctrine. What makes you right and another person wrong? You say it is
scripture but so does the other person. You say it is the Holy Spirit, but then,
so does the other person. Does the Scripture lie to one of you? Does the Holy
Spirit? I always get very suspicious of that person who stubbornly digs in his/her
heels and closes the ears and eyes to what is being said.
4. How often, when you are having a difficult time with someone, do you stop and
pray together? This probably should be first. The most important things
Christians can do. You and I continually try to do it alone.
All to often we talk about loving each other, talk about our being Christian Brother and Sisters, but what would most of the world think if they were lurking and watching? Jesus in his prayer for Unity, Prayed that WE would be ONE as HE and the FATHER are one, so that the world will know that the Father sent Him.
We are not doing a good job and I agree this is not good at all.
so.. wanna argue?Originally posted by eternal hope:I saw this words of advise from a forum and thought of share it here. They also face the same problem but the problems are much better controlled than here.
Begin:
This part of the forum is not good. No discussion. Only arguments and arguing.
Where is this...?
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
and this...?
James 1:26
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
and this...?
2 Timothy 3:10
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience
All I see here is...
Titus 2:15
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Arguing round and round and round...
