christians believe that jesus christ isthe son of god.. so far.. this is my favourite show of the year.
Why they fight? did you hear the last part what the Shah said to Orlando bloom about Jerusalem? "To me, It (Jerusalem) is everything, and it is nothing." When there's a war, the rulers don't fight for God. They fight for land, money, power and their egos. And ideals are just being used as propagandas to give people a reason to fight for the ruler's own gains..
There was one part when Jeremy Iron and his crusades decides to leave Jerusalem, cos they realised that the ideals they had about protecting the Holy land no longer exist.. and they were just being used as pawns.
Ridley scott was trying to show that even though the crusades happened so many years ago, ppl will never learn their lessons and history still repeats itself.. -
