Obviously from the look of the responses, u can say tat it is not possible for christian and non christian to be together.
Religions are simple sets of teachings, but humans tend to make it so difficult and so confusing.
Let me ask you all a simple question :
Christian marry Christian = Sure won't divorce or Separation ?
Who can tell me that Christians and Christians will surely make good couples ?
Another question :
Christian + Non-Christian = Alien ?
If a christian and a non-christian be together will their future generations become alien?
I seriously don't understand why many of the christian friends tend to make their religion so outstanding and so complex.
Think of it ...
Why is there terms like 'christians and non-christians' ???
Why I never come across new terms like "Taoists and non-Taoists" or 'Buddhists and Non-Buddhists' or 'Islam and non-Islam' ???
Ponder over this ...
What is so special of a Christian that non-Christians cannot be with them?
Coz they go churches but non-christians don't ?
I don't think so.
Why make things so difficult ?
If a couple like each other, they should like the partner's character and personality, not the religion!
If they marry coz of any religion, why not ask them marry the religion and be the religious leader of the religion he/she like?
I can say that this religion issue between different religion is quite a headache. Recently, many newly-wedded find themselves trapped in this religion issue and causes many heated arguements between couples. Quite a number of separations or divorces are related to religion issues.
I believe all should be open-minded towards different religions.
All religions are same, all teaches us to do good deeds and help others.
I am a Taoist priest, I personally don't see any BIG differences between devotees of different religion.
Like the $10 plastic notes and the $10 paper notes ...
Both value is $10 ... whats the BIG difference ?
The quality of the plastic notes may be better, but so what?
It is still $10.
Material different but value same.
Religion may be different, but all of us are still human.
As long is
human male +
human female = Whats the big fuss ?
(But if say
male + male /
female + female ... that will be a totally different story liaoz !
)
Respect each other's freedom of religionI believe this is the most important !
From some people here, they r just waiting for a chance to convert u to be christians.
So lets keep this a open topic to chat about.
Don't make this topic a converting session or a baptising session!
Remember !
Freedom of religion!
