freezing cold in Melbourne
well, the groom could not have done better choosing last Saturday when it was 25 degrees
but the weather's become disgraceful again... gonna meet lingos tonight.. hope she can find me in the suburbs
anyhoooooo... it's spring racing carnival now here, Oak's Day aka Ladies' Day today...
had a go at betting for the Cup... lost A$20
the horses i placed bets on, one came in last and the other got pulled up by the stewards for reckless riding by the jockey

and when in Melbourne, don't forget to have a bowl of Vietnamese Beef Noodles at The Mekong along Swanston Walk
mash some basil leaves, a squeeze of lemon, some bean sprouts, some of the fried chilli oil and enjoy... it's DELICIOUS
