It's confirmed.
The new aircon Boon Lay Interchange is scheduled to be opened on 20/12/09, before Christmas season.
Media release from both PTOs are not out yet, but there is a circular in a SMRT bus depot informing SLs of the scheduled opening of the new BLI on the said date.
SLs will be undergoing familiarization training of the new interchange layout, where the parking bay is, the alighting and boarding berth, etc, somewhere this week.
Let's discuss more about the new interchange in this topic.

Or maybe tear down and the grass patch can be used for the Balgahdeshi and China workers to relax one corner on Sundays and Public Holidays, just like the Filipinos used to relax at exisiting ION Orchard land. -

it will be good if they can use the temp int for pick-ups since AM & PM peak alot of people take private buses around boon lay MRT there... in this way, can reduce congestions at roads around the area -

Drivers would rather come and go asap by stopping at the pickup/drop off point.

From 27/12/09, Svcs 172/178/180/187 all extended to serve Boon Lay Way > Jurong West St 64 to Boon Lay Int & vice versa. They will also called at an additional pair of bus stops(Blk 662D/Opp Blk 662D) along Jurong West St 64
Skip that heavily use Jurong West Ctrl 2/3 junction when the AC Boon Lay Int opens on 27/12/09.
