  How about going via Chinatown instead of Shenton Way. Can create fast link from chinatown to suntec and marine parade.

  What I think is that demand from marine parade to shenton way is mainly in the morning and it is served by premiums already. Demand to chinatown would be more consistent throughout the day. Plus marine parade already has a pretty fast connection in 196.

  dont forget service 10, although it doesn't ply along marine parade, it will be also another fast connection from the east coast area to shenton way

  Its just a suggestion lah. The rest of the route is nice. Interesting to note that you skipped parkway which is the 'town centre' of the area but i guess demand from CBD to parkway isnt that great and there are many alternative services alr.

  Been observing of this thread for some time and sad to say so but I think that 'Route Fantasies' is a more appropriate title than 'Route Suggestions' as most of the routes 'suggested' (or fantasied) here seems to be illogical and created just out of fun.
  
  You may say that the reason that you 'suggested' this service is due to link here and there but it is impossible to have all direct links or else you will see many bus services with empty buses running around. For example, you may 'suggest' a service to ply between Bishan and Joo Koon, citing reasons like 'To provide the direct link for the residents in Bishan working in Jurong Industrial Area' but is the demand there? Furthermore the transfer rebate for buses/MRT is going to raise to 50 cents.
  
  Also, I saw lots of 'suggestions' of long haul routes. For instance someone here can suggest a new route to ply between Soon Lee Bus Park to Geylang Lorong 1 via Jurong East/West, Bt Batok, Bt Timah, Bishan, Serangoon, , Eunos and Geylang Lor 1. What is the purpose of such long haul route? The only thing that I can think of such routes is only fantasy.
  
  Another thing, some people here 'suggests' the amendment of some  existance svcs, be it extend or cut short but have you think of the consequences that the pax taking these services regularly will affected somehow?
  
  If you are really suggesting routes, it means that you might be very sure that there is such demands and needs for such routes that you suggested. I have seen many of them here having 'created' so many routes just out of fun and nothing else. For example, if you live in Pasir Ris and you seldom travel to Jurong West how do you know what kind of demands they need?

  I STRONGLY DISAGREE. We SUGGEST FANTASY bus services to be implemented. Can you get it? I know it is kind of impossible or rather redundant but we still SUGGEST. Even if we really want SBST or SMRT to implement the services we implemented quickly, we stil SUGGEST. In the end, we still SUGGEST. So, it should be kept as Route Suggestions not Route Fantasies. Do you think we have so much time do create a fantasy service? We don't waste our time doing that, we SUGGEST, we don't 'fantasy' or wadeva you call it.
