  lol. 1 UMW Lance only. . 859 can get back Lance cameo again.

  imagine, 190 get ELBO. 173 get Lance. 902 and WL Intra-towns/Feeders get Lance. 177/925 get Lance. 960, 966. get Lance. 176 get Strider. 172 get ELBO. 187 get Lance. 67 get ELBO. BB Feeder and CCK feeder get Scania.

  its good that lance can be on 173 as this svc goes into those tight roads like hillview, toh tuck estate.. and lance is smaller in size than anyother smrt buses..

  let Kranji have a taste of Scanias, Woodlands have a taste of how good the Lances are, but still not as good as Scanias...Ang Mo Kio? taste of nothing. KJDEP refuses to transfer their Hino and DAF out!

  The SLs from AMDEP all very bo bian.

  Time after time their bus fleet in AMDEP is shrinking... and shrinking and shrinking.

  Supposedly this might be short term, because according to a senior SL from AMDEP I spoke to AMDEP might be getting the OC500s first. Potential services to get them... 851 and 854.

  Hopefully they will bump up the fleet in AMDEP... or not shortage again. =.="

  Only 2 SP Nissan UDs for WLDEP (CSS185P and CSS203X), not enough to cover for 3 service 852's slots. Unless service 980 transfer its CSS183U out

  At most service 852 either gets those Lances from WLDEP or maybe other Scanias. Just wait for the next week's duty roster to come out...

  I beg to differ. Their Scania L113CRL WA are almost hopeless. Slip gears, floorboard got holes, cockroachs, leaky aircon, aircon = no aircon, sometimes even some chao tar smell!

  But their ELBOs are different. Somehow, their rattling problem has been solved for some. Aircon can be cold, and the noisy "radiator sound" has been removed. TIB839E is one example. Rattling is much lesser, aircon better and the noisy radiator noise is gone. Good thing is the bus is very powerful!

  
  I hope some ELBOs will go back to 75. It would be great to see the best accelerating vehicles (not counting the merc) on 75, namely ELBOs and DAFs.

  If SMRT wants to do this massive redeploments right, why can't they just NOT DO IT AT ALL IN THE FIRST PLACE? I won't want to see TIB442R in KJDEP. KJDEP doesn't maintain their buses well, you can see the leakage of some black stuff on nearly alot of their buses. I am not critisizing KJDEP, but im saying they do not maintain their buses so well and the drivers don't make the habit to keep clean their buses.

  And it makes me wonder why it had to be 61, 75, 171, 173, 700, 852, 859, 970 and 985 buses affected in this retarded transfer..

  Sigh, it seems something weird happens in 2008. Hopefully the next transfer will allow all these poor affected buses to go back to their original depot under the original drivers. Hopefully this stupid deployment only lasts 3 months.

  And to add on, why bring over Lances to WLDEP? Why give scanias to KJDEP? I know it gives drivers exposure to different models, but are the technicians trained to maintain these buses?
