  SMB - SuMmons Bus (take this bus always tio summons). suddenly, SMB seems like a lot of fun and hope to see it this Sunday (really, no more fly kite and say delayed)

  i hope that they dun deploy it for like 1 trip in the afternoon where SPH stands in the bus to shake their hand. like that must tycotyco stand there. if its A/P i may post timings i got on 23/03/2008.

  or better still delay again.

  Maybe SMRT new bendies had up to 6 PIW spaces and seats just over the usual SD max cap(which is abt 50), with SPH anything can occur.

  Don't worry. We'll see more new SMRT Trainsets. And there are going to be new public bus operators in about..maybe within 10 years? Exotic buses may reappear again! SMRT probably get an articulated chassis and body it with some cheap weird bodywork to make it look unique on SG roads

  Correction: SMB1H will be given to KJDEP instead of AMDEP. Will still be deployed to service 190, provided no more hiccups.

  No wonder. I asked AMDEP BCs and they had no clue at all.

  851 will be taking in the OC500LEs once the 2nd one is registered. Not sure how many units. Confirmed liao.

  Volvo B9LA, Scania K320UA, Mercedes-Benz CItaro G or O 500 UA, MAN NG 313F or NG 353F.

  All have in excess of 300hp and all meet Euro 5 emissions norms.

  Still, thanks for the info. Though I don't know what is the likelihood of the time it appears. If AMDEP then easier, it's one of the first 2 buses from NBR.

  854 is still in discussions. Hopefully they will also give OC500LEs there. Makes Yishun more high-class.

  That's what 9888Y told me... Though I'm not sure if in between 190AM01 and 190AM02 there are any Kranji buses.

  0600 - 190AM01 - rotates between 1177A and 1042E

  0610 - 190S202 - KJDEP slot mind you. Perm bus 1150B

  0620 - 190AM02 - rotates between 1177A and 1042E

  Thanks for the clarification. S2 duties very hard to catch. Thats why I often see it as 2 AMDEP bus consecutively. =)

  Most powerful would be Volvo B9LA and Citaro G ? If im not wrong, the B9LA would have 360Bhp and Citaro Gs have 354Bhp (OM457hLA)
