  Why need to be 851 and 854, just wait before talking, they will be out eventually, but according to SPH requriments,

  Annual Report said FY09 Q1 the bus will be out... and there's like less than 8 days till the end of FY09 Q1.

  Should be the one that was featured in the exhibition bah.

  Anyone got any real confirmation how many buses they bought? Some say 66 some say 132... some say a few hundreds...

  SMRT's new registration prefix SMB and number (0001) makes the whole TIB fleet sound old. :( Sadly the TIB prefix will not be used anymore. SMB -> SaMBal. Oceane>> Total is 132. 66 first then the rest later. (correct if recall wrong)

  Hmm, what i was referring to was it looks similar to the SMRT's OAC. SMRT took the route of SBS's CAC O405's windows being sealed up when SBS converted the NACs to CACs. There's one SMRT OAC fitted with an overhead air-con but i can't recall the rego Perhaps it's the part of the refurbishments going on clean walls, emergency hammers and no emergency doors? Or just a spur of the moment one bus decision? lol Anyway, where are the other 65 OC500LE?

  The new bus rego is confirmed as SMB1H (not TIB1258A).

  And info give to me is that this bus will be under AMDEP. It will be depolyed to service 190 wef this coming Sunday, provided that there will be no more hiccups.

  So happy spotting and camping at either CCK or New Bridge Road guys. Feel free to keep a lookout along the road too and standby your cameras. But just a reminder that no photography is allowed at the bus interchanges or terminals.

  the O405 fitted with roof-mounted aircon is TIB488J (857 WLDEP) by Konvekta. most probably the Hispacold aircon could not be repaired, and they would have to mount an aircon unit on top of the bus.
