  Later SBS have ordered the MAN WAB bus and it come out faster that the Merc WAB for SMRT, that would be very fun.

  For the Dennis Lances to be "out of lifespan" and assuming they are not sold / scrap before end of lifespan.. that would be 2015 earliest...

  But any of you wondered if the rebranding of TIBS to SMRT could also change the license plate from TIB heading to SMRT? eg. SMRT1234A.

  doubt so & they will retain the TIB plate..

  I don't think LTA allows four letters for the plate though..

  1) Change the front letters from TIB to SMB (I know it sounds stupid but...)
  2) Retain TIB and start off from TIB 1258A.
  3) Or if they go by the SBST way, start off from a XX00, TIB 1300K.

  There may be more than just these 3. =D

  TIB is a special heading dedicated for trans island by LTA. So they(LTA) can possibly change it again. Dont you agree?
