That's the former Jurong Bus Park aka former Jurong interchange. Those buses you saw were probably still in revenue services. When SLBP replaced Jurong Depot (where service 143 terminated before extended to Jurong East) and Jurong Bus Park, all the buses there were re-located to the new SLBP.Originally posted by SBS3572Y:i remembered LO2x and MB O305, 100++ of them parked besides the former jurong depot, a big field behind, and one day, i passed by, they were gone! sold to overseas probably
They are OACs.Originally posted by CAIX:What are the number being highlighted in Orange ?? Are they missing ones??
in 1989, NAC buses still outnumber AC buses and operationally, there wasn't really a demand for AC buses (ppl then are relunctant to pay higher fares for AC). furthermore, Scania OAC's cost $20k more than NAC's. it is thus logical that more NAC buses are bought compared to AC buses.Originally posted by CAIX:How come there are more CAC / NAC than OAC in the scania fleet ?
Wow! Very costly for just one CRB AC bus !Originally posted by ^tamago^:in 1989, NAC buses still outnumber AC buses and operationally, there wasn't really a demand for AC buses (ppl then are relunctant to pay higher fares for AC). furthermore, Scania OAC's cost $20k more than NAC's. it is thus logical that more NAC buses are bought compared to AC buses.
