Why COE Prices is 90k and not 30k ?!

Indian Nationals EP holders and their wives now driving.
In the past most of them take public transport or taxi to work.
From about 3-5 years ago they started to buy their own vehicles and drive.
That is the main reason why we have to pay 90k for COE now.
Mis-calculation by minister is just an excuse to fool Singapore.
A smaller error was used to cover up a bigger flop.
I am not saying Indian Nationals should not be allowed to drive.
I encourage them to drive in those big countries like USA or Australia.
If you insist that FTs should be allowed into Singapore.
Fine !
How about not letting them increase so much, so fast and so dominating ?
I have not seen the benefits brought in by these FTs.
I have heard about our Singaporeans banking officers and software engineers being bullied by them.
And my income remain more or less the same.
But now I have to pay 60k more for the same car.
And feel alienated in my own birth place.
So should I still pad PAP govt on the back for doing a good job ?

Money is king in SG.
If you go their country you can also afford to drive big cars. The problem is.. there's not much well maintained roads for you to drive your luxury panty droppers on.
I think we need to build more bridges over the surrounding ocean to create more roads .Singapore is really too small, too crowded and wayyyyy too expensive now.

Everytime I drive I don't see many indians driving,many seems to be driving some cargo and some ferrying passengers in trucks. Don't spout such nonsense as Indians raised your COE. It's easier to be a loser and blame someone else. I would assume if they could get better jobs here than you who had better circumstances, the obvious is you are a sore loser. Don't blame other countries or chinese,indians,indonesians,malays for your life.It's the govt you chose who makes the policy. And migrate to other countries if you are talented,which I am sure you aint.

You there's no rich indians har? A lot of indians I work with are filthy rich hor. Those who can migrate are not cheap labor on work passes.
Many can buy several private properties and the cost is just a drop in the bucket for them.

indian where got drive cars one. In India they don't have the habit to drive, so when outside india they also won't drive. All angmohs drive in their countries, so they come here, how expensive also must drive.
angmoh, expat usually get companies to provide them cars, and they take MRT to work in CBD, their wives drive their kids around. Indian women seldom drive lah....

The reason why singapore are seeing more affluent foreigners living on our island is purely financial reason and better living environment.
Singapore is one of a few countries where there's no capital gain tax and Inheritance tax .Rich people like it very much. The island is a magnet for rich Asians also due to our cultural compatibility. We will only see more and more of these foreigners come to our shores.
So ts is partially correct to say that these people play a part in pushing up our prices.
