    • Hi guys,

Based on some of the suggestions given, there will be a cycling trip on that night.

      Date : 8/8/08
Starting Point : East Coast Park
Ending Point : East Coast Park

Basically, we will start from East Coast Park and do a trip up East (or north ?) to Changi Village. Have our Nasi Lemak as supper before we will head back to East Coast Park again.

      Time : 2100Hrs

We will start at about 2100hrs. For those who doesnt have bikes at home or feel that you're too lazy to cycle all the way down to ECP, we could make arrangements for your to rent your bike. The rental cost is about S$8/night (subject to changes thanks to inflation).

All forum mates are welcome to join. And we hope to see u there......

      Cheers.

I think I have no mood to cycle at night. Only those senior ones would be going eventually. Anyway, I can't go as my parents won't let me out.

May I suggest if we could organise another simillar outing during daylight since most young busfans can turn up for it.

The problem that i choose to have it at night is the fact that its is simply much easier to cycle at night due to the distance that we are covering. If i do change the timing to the day time. I can asssure you that the time taken to cycle to CGV and back will be double.

Do note that this outing is open to Everyone. As long as you have gain the permission from your parents. Do note that from East Coast Park to Changi VIllage, we will be using the Park Connectors all the way thus reducing the need to cycle on the road.

    • Just a small input.....if it's gonna be a overnight thing, might as well as extend the looping-point to Pasir Ris Park?

    • I may not be going as I have not rode a bike for at least a few years so I may have even forgotten how to keep my balance on a bike.

knowing how to ride a bicycle is a skill for life. you dont forget how to ride... or swim. just pedal a few meters and the balancing comes back almost immediately

the colours and props changes, but not the shows.

eg. military/ uniformed groups march, perform drills, the fighter planes, fireworks and the endless dances and songs, and the goody bag
